Please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about Naylor Wintersgill.
Hi, I am Victoria Wainwright, managing director of Naylor Wintersgill. Naylor Wintersgill is a large independent firm of chartered accountants, business and tax advisors in Yorkshire.
Having started as the very first apprentice at Naylor Wintersgill over 25 years ago (!), I became MD in 2012 and now lead a team of over 60 at both our headquarters based in Bradford and our Leeds office at One Park Row.
With over 25 years accounting and general practitioner experience I specialise in strategic and financial planning for small-medium owner managed businesses as well as being a Registered Auditor.
Who is a typical client for you?
Our client portfolio comprises of mostly owner managed businesses and personal tax clients ranging from small businesses right through to multi-million pound turnover companies and groups.
We have a strong team that includes many qualified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Tax advisers and Accounting Technicians. Our team are experienced in the delivery of accounting, audit, tax and business advisory services to a wide range of businesses in all industries.
More recently during these challenging times, we have been supporting our client even more by helping them take control of their business through our range of services including management accounting, cashflow forecasting and assistance with funding. We have also been providing a lot of payroll and HR support and have even set up a new department dealing with the government job retention scheme claims on behalf of clients.
Who would you love to meet for a quick conversation to help your business?
We’d love to have a quick chat with a wide variety of professional contacts across West Yorkshire to look at ways we can work together to drive new business and to help provide our clients with greater access to a wide variety of industry experts across the region.
What is your clients’ perception of your office?
We believe that our clients see our offices in the same way they view our team, professional, friendly and reliable. We are extremely pro-active and embrace technology to enhance the efficiencies of our clients’ accounting function. Our offices at One Park Row reflect this.
Our aim is to build a collaborative relationship built on trust and confidence with all of our clients and so, we hope that they view our office here at Gilbanks as an approachable space where they can access the services and support needed to grow their business, from people they can actually relate to!
Having held a number of seminars in the Verde meeting room and the Conference room, our clients have been extremely complimentary. The seamless technology, service, excellent front of house and range of facilities available really help us to create the right impression – and we can also most certainly vouch for the bacon butties!
What do you love most about being based at Gilbanks?
Having a base in Leeds at Gilbanks, and in the city’s established financial quarter, really allows us to be better connected across the region and provides increased flexibility for our clients.
Gilbanks also offers our team a desirable, professional and contemporary space to host meetings and work collaboratively in premium comfort.
