Please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about Azets.
I am Victoria Wainwright, managing director of Azets, which is a large independent firm of chartered accountants, business and tax advisors in Yorkshire.
Having started as the very first apprentice at Azets (formally known as Naylor Wintersgill) over 25 years ago, I became Managing Director in 2012 and now lead a team of over 60 at both our headquarters based in Bradford and our Leeds office at One Park Row.
As well as being a Registered Auditor, my role specialises in strategic and financial planning for small-medium owner-managed businesses.
Who is a typical client for you?
Azets’ client portfolio comprises of mostly owner-managed businesses and personal tax clients ranging from small businesses right through to multi-million-pound turnover companies and groups.
Our strong team includes many qualified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Tax advisers and Accounting Technicians, and are experienced in delivering accounting, audit, tax and business advisory services to a wide range of businesses in all industries.
What is your clients’ perception of your office?
We believe that our clients see our offices in the same way they view our team – professional, friendly and reliable. We are extremely proactive and embrace technology to enhance the efficiencies of our clients’ accounting functions. Our offices at One Park Row reflect this.

What do you love most about being based at Gilbanks?
Having a base at Gilbanks in Leeds’ established financial quarter allows us to be better connected across the region and provides increased flexibility for our clients.
