Manchester-based ad-tech specialist Skyrise is set to relocate its operations to Gilbanks’ newly opened serviced offices at No. 1 St Michael’s, joining the first wave of occupiers in the £400 million city-centre development.
Skyrise is an advertising technology company that provides advertisers and agencies with a real-world alternative to buying, planning, and measuring media. It builds data-driven audiences using anonymised network intelligence, location data, transactional insights, and real-world behavioural patterns. The approach enables more precise, effective campaigns across all channels.
Paul Barnard, CEO of Skyrise, said: “No. 1 St Michael’s is the most exciting development in central Manchester and Gilbanks has done a fantastic job in creating an office environment that our team will look forward to working in. The St Michael’s development and Gilbanks’ offering align perfectly with our ambition to provide the best possible setting for our people and our clients.”
Gilbanks’ St Michael’s site supports the development’s Net Zero Carbon goals, incorporating recycled materials and a considered approach to waste reduction. It is expected to become Manchester’s first fully Net-Zero Carbon commercial development, both in construction and operation.
The site has already attracted major occupiers, including insurance group AXA, which is relocating its Manchester team to the building. AXA will occupy space designed to accommodate 70 people, benefiting from cutting-edge technology and a workspace designed to enhance productivity.
Commenting on the move, Alex Duckett, managing director of Gilbanks, said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with the interest in our new offices at No. 1 St Michael’s, which we believe set a new benchmark for design and luxury. If companies want to call this fantastic building home, they need to act quickly, as we have the last few vacancies in the development. Gilbanks’ offices are designed to provide an unparalleled working environment for professional firms in the heart of this fantastic city.”
