Gilbanks has secured a funding package from Frontier Development Capital (FDC), building on FDC’s initial investment in 2024.
The funding supports Gilbanks’ continued expansion, including the launch of a new 23,500 sq ft workspace at Assembly C in Bristol.
Gilbanks opened its first workspace at One Park Row, Leeds, in 2018, followed by a second site at 11 York Street, Manchester. FDC’s initial investment supported the opening of a second Manchester site at St Michael’s, and a Birmingham workspace at Five St Philips. Gilbanks now brings the same standard of premium, service-led workspace to Bristol.
Kathryn Light, Investment Manager at FDC, said: “Flexible workspace is a market we know very well at FDC. Gilbanks has an impressive management team and has built a strong niche delivering high-quality flexible workspace to a professional audience. We are pleased to support its continued expansion.”
Alex Duckett, Managing Director of Gilbanks, said: “The office landscape has shifted towards a more service-led, experience-driven model. At Gilbanks, we take only best-in-class buildings in ultra-prime locations and offer a five-star service. The new funding will enable us to bring the Gilbanks concept to Bristol as part of our plan to target key cities throughout the UK.”
This milestone reflects the continued strength and stability behind every Gilbanks location. For those considering a move, it is a sign of a company investing confidently in the quality and consistency you can expect from your workspace.
